Event Rules 1. All participants must register and carry a participant pass at all times.
2. No vehicles in camp from 8:00 am Saturday until 4:30 pm Sunday.
3. All camps must be authentic in appearance during the entire event!
4. All participants must be authentic in appearance, (i.e. period eyewear, shoes, etc.).
5. All officers & sergeants must maintain control and be responsible for their unit’s actions.
6. Camp areas must be clean at all times, (free of trash).
7. Fire pits should be free of, bottles, cans and any other item that will not burn.
8. Discharging of weapons is allowed only during authorized periods and/or in designated areas.
9. Weapons must be historically correct for the time period and unit and in good working order, no shot guns!
10. Appropriate rank for the numbers in the unit. No rank above captain without permission of the commanding officer.
11. Pass check and safety inspection required before each battle.
12. No cartridges larger than 65 grains.
13. No pets in camp without approval.
14. Camp will be quite at midnight.
15. Use of bayonets and ramrods are prohibited, unless authorized by the event coordinators.
16. Use of alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs are prohibited.
17. There are no modern hookups. Sleeping in a vehicle is permitted in the participant parking area. Please no generators.
18. The use of horses during the event will be restricted to Functioning Cavalry Only!
19.There will be no mounted infantry at this event.
20. The event committee reserves the right to check coggins test as well as insurance policies of any mounted rider.
21. No Raffles or Fund raisers of any kind are permitted without the prior written permission of the 124th N.Y.S.V.
22. No Vending or selling of any kind is permitted without prior written permission of the 124th N.Y.S.V's. Event Sutler Coordinator.
